Since its acquisition in 2002 and being allowed a blank canvas in order to rethink the way we do things or how they should be done HTC has innovated the tower crane industry.No other tower crane company has such stringent policies or means of policing them. From servicing our cranes routinely (an industry first) to having them independently examined (we always did it this way) to the comprehensive preventative planned maintenance scheme we have in place (now a best practice) we have been the bench mark for everyone else. Climbing Platform
HTC has developed a climbing platform for when erection staff are attaching tie collars to give a safe place of work and reduce the risk of items falling. This has been successfully trialled on a project in London and will become standard practice for HTC on all climbing operations.
Guarantees
HTC Plant is the only tower crane company that offers guarantees of quality and service which are as follows:-
99% guarantee of availability of any HTC crane on site with an HTC operator. This demonstrates that our cranes’ preventative maintenance regime, inspection and service are of such a standard that we can offer this unique guarantee to our clients.
Downtime – although seldom quantified can impact our customers in significant losses. We therefore give this guarantee that should we fail for any reason within our control to deliver 99% availability over the duration of the project we will compensate the clients at the end of the contract.
All HTC cranes free standing to 60m height under hook will be erected, roped and tested and ready for site operations within two working days.
Any breakdown on site that is not rectified within forty eight hours we will then compensate our customers for any extension of this time.
